Kettle’s Yard Concept Project
Cambridge
2026
During the exploration of the Kettle’s Yard house and reading about its ethos, I developed a concept project which celebrates the space’s ideals and engages the public to recognise them. Kettle’s Yard invites peace, nature, physics into the viewers experience. Each thing in the curated house was placed with care and purpose. The audience is encouraged to understand the objects’ shape, weight, shadow, position.
In the project, I wanted to invite the viewers to a more conscious experience of the house, by inviting play in a shape of a cut out. each was inspired by an iconic shape seen in the gallery.
